Director of Software Engineering

Director of Software Engineering  to lead the product development team in design and functional review of features; schedule development and debugging efforts; define engineering roles and track product development life cycle; design and review product software architecture and implementation; maintain product code versions; handle product releases and deployment; manage QA team, including design, implementation and review of test scaffolds for the hardware and software versions of the product; manage off-shore team of developers and QA engineers; work with the product management team to design product features depending on market requirements.

Requires Masters degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or related discipline and 2 years of experience optimizing networking system software, video streaming and codecs, byte level caching in network elements, cache storage, retrieval and management, handling boundary shift conditions, project mgmt, and government contracting.  Exp to include 6 months with gdb and kgdb, Linux network stack, improving design of existing protocols, and design/implementation of network algorithms from scratch, of scheduling algorithms for network traffic assignment to dynamically changing resources/servers, and of RT monitoring algorithms that characterize resources.
