Asankya has developed products and services that enable consistent and
cost-effective delivery of real-time content at the highest quality.
The core technology called Parallel Networking was developed through research led by Dr. Raghupathy Sivakumar at Georgia Tech. This research was conducted in Georgia Tech's Network and Mobile Computing (GNAN) Research Lab. The technology has been recognized for its pioneering contribution to wireless and mobile computing research, winning awards from Association of Computing Machinery (ACM SIGMOBILE) and Motorola. Asankya was formed in 2004 and granted the exclusive license to commercialize this breakthrough in high-performance multipath networking. In addition to Parallel Networking, Asankya has a growing portfolio of intellectual property and other technical advances in networking and packet processing. Asankya's innovative thinking in transport and wireless networking separate the company from others in the media delivery space.
Asankya is coming to market with these innovations through software and services delivered over the Internet and other IP networks. Asankya is working with forward-thinking companies today to assist in the consistent high-quality delivery of real-time content over the Internet. With wireless networking intelligence at the roots of the technology, Asankya plans to deliver these same real-time delivery benefits to the mobile networking market.
Asankya is based in Atlanta, Georgia. Asankya is a product of the Georgia Tech VentureLab commercialization program and is currently a member of the Advanced Technology Development Center incubator.
